Christians were persecuted for hundreds of years for their beliefs, why can't they show a little respect for atheists, Muslims, etc now? Can't they see that they are becoming the very thing they hated?

What is a Traffic Camera doing when it is Flashing--or shuttering--nonstop?

Having made my approach to an intersection with a red light, at speed limit, in a sunny afternoon, I stopped before the crosswalk and gazed up at the traffic camera mounted above as I waited for the light to transition to green. I noted that the area around its lens flashed, or shuttered, incessantly for about 8 seconds--likely longer, but the light turned green--although it could only be noticed by looking directly at it. My question is whether this is common behavior--given the interval, no photo-enforced red light cameras in the vicinity, and the absence of malpractice on my part--of the traffic camera or if it was registering an infraction? To describe the situation further, a car was to my right (but also didn't appear to do anything out of the ordinary).

What rights does a mother have getting full custody?

My friend is going to court for custody decision about her 3 yr old daughter. She now has split custody with her daughter's father, he takes her half the week, & she has her the other half. His live-in girlfriend is absolutely crazy, she swears a lot, screams a lot, she breaks things when she's angry, she starts fights with everyone, she smokes pot every day, she & this little girl's father got pulled over with a DWI & possession of marijuana a while ago. Who says he won't wanna marry you if he moves in? I mean, that's really common, but as long as you both want the same things for your life together, then marriage will still be on the radar even if you live together... If you're worried about it, tell him before he moves in that you expect marriage within a reasonable time frame because you really don't wanna live together without being married but you don't want to turn your back on him when he's in need... Or just make it temporary if neither of you is ready for marriage anytime soon. Be honest, make sure he knows you're serious and stick to your guns. If he doesn't deliver, kick him out.

I was pulled over for speeding and the ticket says he clocked me at 42 in a 30mph zone. The officer told me he was giving me a break and giving me "Impeding Traffic" which i noticed on the ticket was a civil infraction. He also told me it would be no points on my license. I personally am a Christian. For me, it offers the best answers, especially after watching my father recently go through a very painful terminal illness. He was perfectly at peace with the fact that he was going to die, and went peacefully. I just got my license and was driving on my own for the first time. I accidentally bumped the car in front of me when I stopped at a red light. It wasn't hard enough to really leave any mark on his car, but it was strong enough so he could feel that I actually hit him. I panicked, and once the light turned green and he pulled over to the right, I floored it. It was a stupid thing to do, but I was so afraid of what would happen because I had just gotten my license weeks ago. He began chasing me, and I didn't know what to do but to keep going. He caught up to me after a couple blocks then made a U-turn and left. I think that he may have taken down my license number to report to the police. There was no real damage to his car or my car. When I looked at my car later, I couldn't even tell that there was anything wrong with it except for a slight indentation in the license plate. I'm sure that it's the same for his car. I hear that the consequence for a hit and run in California for property and vehicular damages is $1000 or six months imprisonment. Can this happened to me? I'm only 17 and have just begun to receive college acceptances. I cant afford to go to jail or have such a big infraction against me that will revoke all my acceptances. It would ruin my life.

I visited Italy last year in June 2010. Yesterday I received a notice requesting payment for a summons supposedly issued to our rental car for driving on a taxi lane. I asked them to send me pictures of the infraction and they sent me two separate pics - one of the back of the car and the other of the street where it supposedly happened. They did not send a picture of the car driving down the street. Has anyone ever experienced this? A year later they are claiming payment? If I am responsible, I will pay. But shouldn't they show me a picture of the car driving down that street? The fine is for 99.88 euros! They also told me on their response that if I appeal this issue and they deny the appeal, the fine will double. Should I just pay or appeal?

Tell the truth to your recruiter, explain what was going on in your life and let them know that you a different person now and want to join the army with the best of intentions. I mean I don't like religion, I find that it separates people. Legal Help! just today i recieved a ticket for jaywalking code 21955 and im a minor?

Just today I received a ticket for Jaywalking in Newark, California. I know it was the wrong thing to do but I was in a hurry to get back to school and attend tutoring, and it wasn't a disturbance to the traffic( there was no traffic) Its a violation of code 21955 and its an infraction. Since i'm a minor and my family is going through some difficult economic times is it possible to receive community service to pay off the fine or is it possible to pay it off in payments? Question about Marines?

I've got some questions about the function of the Marine Corps. A lot of enlisted Marines i have talked to said that the Marines are infamous for not giving you what you wanted out of it, (specific jobs, advancement, special schools etc.). I understand that they arent in business to please the basic grunt, but am i really powerless over my Marine Corps career? I want to go Infantry, and i want to give Recon, S/S, and Force a shot if i qualify. Approach to New York State Speeding Ticket for Ontario Driver?

I'm not sure how well this works in general in NYC, but sometimes walking in and pleading guilty to the lesser speeding ticket works. Here in CA it's worked for me and other people. Contest the ticket, then when you show up to court ask for a reduction to the 20-24 mph over the speed limit ticket as opposed to the 25+ over one. Might save you a point o your license, and maybe $75 or so along the way. Every little bit helps.

the relationship, That is'nt the issue. Both parties are mature adults that have a 27 year history they love each other and are caring enough to want for the other what they want for them selves. The scenario continues, the individual begins to craft plans that will ultimately lead them out of the relationship. The plans included, getting one of the individuals incarcerated for what the plan clearly indicated could be up to 2 years. The violations aren't disputed and the individual accepts responsibility for the discretion, the infractions are misdermener traffic related actually. None the less due to financial and vocational difficulties, that were disscused, became non- issue until the funds are avaiable. then the matter is resolved, there, a brief description is nesscarry in order to have a clear picture of the crime in question, its not like a battery, assault...etc.....continue's.well turns out that the length of incarceration was a bit presumtuous and the severity of the infraction was over estimated. Now one of the parties hears rumors of abuse that the first person is claiming to have recieved. There are no physical signs impossible other then maybe a couple of bruises due to an exceptional sex life and low iron. Now the plot thickens, the first party the one who wished to leave the relatiionship has the undivided and undisputable attention of others and thats really ok but and hears the question " how do you first, explain the details of incidents that are so diametrically oppisites, you would think that they weren't talking about the same day, place etc.. when they have heard them first from the proclaimed victims point of view.and thats fine unless the recollectiion of the occurances is not based in reality or the first party is trying to maximize the affect and get more attention or I dont kinow why "
